Does star anise need refrigeration?

No. Star anise does not require refrigeration. Store it in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Proper storage helps preserve its natural flavour and aroma for longer and prevents the spice from absorbing unwanted moisture or odours.
