Origin: Bharat

Key Values

  • Long & Slender Grain Size
  • Unpolished
  • Gluten-free
  • Non-GMO
  • Pleasant Aroma
  • No Additives
  • No Pesticides or Chemicals

Usage

  • Cook plain like regular rice and enjoy with vegetable gravy.
  • Enjoy brown rice pulao with a lot of fresh seasonal vegetables.
  • Relish delicious sweet rice made by adding jaggery powder, elaichi & roasted nuts.
  • Grind into flour to use in healthy satvic snacks.

How to Cook Basmati Brown Rice?

  • Soak the rice for 6 to 8 hours
  • Combine 1 cup of soaked rice with 4 cups of water
  • Cook on medium heat for 20-30 minutes & serve

Note: Quickly transfer them to an airtight container upon receiving, especially during the monsoon season.

How is it different from Indrayani Brown Rice?

  • If you are a rice lover and enjoy eating rice, always prefer Basmati Brown Rice over Indrayani. You won’t miss the unhealthy white rice. On the other hand, Indrayani Rice looks a little mushy when cooked because of its extra soft texture and is best for preparing cheelas, idlis, uttapam, dosa, vegetable appam, etc.
  • Indrayani Brown Rice is a better option if you need rice for preparing kheer or khichdi.

Note: Please add water equal to 4 times the rice quantity at one time.
